LIFE Fitting participated in the INTER LIFE PT 2024, held in 6-7 march in Viseu. The event brought together ongoing LIFE projects with Portuguese partners and/or coordinators. LIFE Fitting was presented, and challenges, opportunities and replication issues were discussed in a rich networking experience.
APA, the Portuguese Environmental Agency, is the National Focal Point of the LIFE programme, the only EU programme dedicated exclusively to the environment, nature conservation and climate action and a financial instrument to implement the objectives and targets of the European Green Deal. As part of APA´ capacity building project LIFE CAP-PT II, for better use of LIFE II and collaboration nets development, APA organized the Inter LIFE PT 2024 @ Viseu, inviting all LIFE projects with Portuguese partners and/or coordinators for sharing experiences. This year, those projects approved in 2022, as LIFE Fitting (2023-2025), and/or finishing in 2024, were presented and a very healthy discussion on challenges, opportunities and replication issues arose from round tables.
