A LIFE Fitting seminar dedicated to micropollutants and antibiotic resistant bacteria & resistance genes in wastewater was held last 9th April at UCP-Porto. A very enthusiastic panel & audience enriched the discussion around the revised urban wastewater directive (UWWTD) and the actual awareness and readiness of water utilities and laboratories for the implementation of the required water monitoring and treatment.
The seminar Urban Wastewater Treatment: Ready for Zero Pollution? organized by Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) with the collaboration of LNEC and TRATAVE, was held at UCP, in Porto, last 9th April. Audience, project team and other international (INRAE) and national invited speakers (CFE-TERRA, LSRE-LCM/FEUP, AQUAPOR-SAUR GROUP, BLUEMATER, EQUILIBRIUM) from water utilities, industry experts and academia filled to its capacity the event room (ca. 50) during the full day in a shared moment of reflection and lively and frank discussion.
